"The performance Self-brainwashing is related to the idea of concealing and obliterating the world existing around us, including the figure of the artist, and his transformation into something else, stimulating the research of new words through which to name it. The artist together with the other performers, dressed in a white protective suits, and the surrounding space are gradually immersed in an ethereal and perishable white foam - this action is accompanied by a specially created for the performance sound background by the Austrian artist Harald Stoyan.

The froth briefly takes us out of the familiar, the safe, out of the place where we think we are in cognitive comfort, sculpting the world in an inaccessible way. And it seems that the moment it begins to generate the process of Self brainwashing and we begin to forget the questions and answers we ask ourselves on a daily basis, it disappears and we go back to where we belong." - Irina Batkova
