INCOME

The realisation of the project „Income“ is mainly due to the fact, that 2000 francs are placed to my disposal as „additional allowance to the production“, in order to create a new piece dedicated to the issue „Situation and Spectacle“ at the Paul Klee Centre, Bern. The 2000 francs are in the truest sense of the word my primary material for the creation of my project, which takes into account the situation. To make my money proliferate I had the pleasure to get in contact with the Swiss National Bank. It kindly put at my disposal bank note shavings to complement my work, which makes possible a metamorphosis into money. The installation consists of 2 videos (butterfly and tail) and a coat made of money. The concept also implies, that for me as the artist there do not arise any costs from the creation of the piece (since I join my complete budget), and at the same time guarantees me an income. If the piece is not sold, I will be able to dismantle it in its primary materials...
